How does this work?
Each week I post a new dinner from the Global Kitchen.
By end of Day Friday, you order the meal, by emailing me.
The following week I deliver the meal on an agreed upon day.
*I am a small one person shop, so for the time being I need to limit the number of portions I can deliver to 10 per week. I appreciate your understanding.
Saag (Palak) Paneer
THIS WEEK
Saag is a leafy greens dish from the Indian Subcontinent that dates as far back as 2000 BC. In US it is frequently referred to as Spinach Curry, which is a misnomer from the Brits, who did not have any comparative dishes and hence gave many of the meals the generic name “curry”.
Spice wise Saag or Palak (when made predominantly with Spinach) is much milder than some of the other “curries”.
The Saag:
Spinach, Fenugreek, Oil, Cumin, Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Tomatoes, Garam Masala, Turmeric, Cayenne Pepper, Cream (or Coconut Milk), Salt.
The Paneer:
Milk, Lemons
Rice
